Road Trip to Orlando!!!

Hey guys,

How are you? I am doing really well. I decided to take a short road trip from Palm Beach Gardens to Orlando, for the game. I drove by myself which was calming & relaxing. Taking time & space is always a delight since I'm constantly working.

Okay, so back to the road trip. I had a blast driving, playing music, singing, & of course I was able to have a few telephone conversations (of course, I always use an earpiece). I know you are wondering which team I'm cheering on to win. Well, I am sorry to let you know but I am totally for the Miami Heat. LOL. Anyway, the road trip to Orlando was great. I was thrilled to be on court & not playing. I was able to hangout with my BFF, Selita Ebanks. Of course, we gossiped & joked around. I loved looking in the stands & cheering with the rest of the fans. It was amazing being a fan amongst other fans. The excitement filled the air & the intensity was fulfilling.

Okay, so I admit that I didn't catch much of the game because I was logged on to twitter, talking with Selita, & watching the excitement in the stands. But, I will say that the road trip was well worth it.

Xxx,
S

P.S. Kobe is a real champion. Please, share your road trip experiences.

Yeah I seen you in the stands at the game and you looked hott. It was funny cause I thought you was somewhere in England but I'm glad to see you were smiling. I wish you the best luck at Wimbledon and I am hoping that if you don't win it then Venus does. Also I hope that you and Venus win all the grandslams untill you both retire. I still believe you can win atleast 18 considereing the fact that you win them in pairs now lol. Take care real no.1

That sounds like fun!! I was definitely cheering for Kobe though, lol. Hmm, my family might be doing a Road Trip to Arizona from Pittsburgh this summer and that will NOT be fun, haha. That's too long in a car!! But have fun in Orlando and you know that all your fans can't wait to see you at Wimbledon next week!! We're so excited!! I'm feeling number 11 there, :-)

Hey Serena. Thanks for sharing with us. I have many roadtrip experiences. I traveled a lot in college from VA to Mich. and then last night I just got back from NYC. It was a fun trip, so I know what you mean about it being worth it. Sometimes just being in the atmosphere and with people you love is all u need. Good Luck at Wimby...win wimby!!! I know you're confident in yourself, and this Prasanna person is a psycho, so just ignore him/her.

Comment by : Murtaza Yusuf Monday, June 15, 2009

Hrmmn It is a sort of thing i would like to do. I think its refreshing if one flies a lot and you could seize an opportunity to be on the road once in a while, especially when you are on the wheels! Then you really spice it up with music and chats with friends on phone..Sweets!! LOL I travelled from Togo to Ghana, in West Africa. It was thrilling because i was going to see a Football match and the frills and thrills of seeing so many locals on the street was fun. Everything loked like a fiesta! Nicely!!

First of all...THANKS SO MUCH, Serena, for re-tweeting me yesterday during the game. I was at the game cheering for Orlando and I was excited to find out you were there too. And then I got a tweet from you - WOW - so cool. You made my day, week, year ;-) Regarding the road trip....I just came back from a roadtrip with my husband at the westcoast. We flew into LAX drove to the Grand Canyon (stayed there at a cabin), drove to Utah spent a day at Bryce Canyon, drove to Nevada - stayed in Vegas for 2 nights (and I won in the casino, yeah!) - drove back to CA and spent a couple of nights in Palm Springs, Santa Barbara & Los Angeles. We drove over 2600 miles in 12 days (and in "we" I mean my husband ;-)) I love road trips. Listening to music, chatting, just seeing the nature change. The craziest thing was driving from LA through the mojave desert (120F) and arriving at sunset at the Grand canyon (67F). Amazing landscape and climate change. GOOD LUCK IN WIMBLEDON!! Rommy

Comment by : Estella Davis Monday, June 15, 2009

Wow Serena, sounds like you like long drives. I personally hate driving long distance, the road still puts me to sleep just like when I was a kid. Also, I didn't know Selita was your BFF. She's cool, very pretty, and real down to earth. I hope you and Kelly are still cool too. Also what about Brandy?

Hey guys, you can dislike me, but I want all Americans to support Barak Obama. He is the best thing ever happened to America.Obama is a great speaker and he will bring peace to world. I love him. My mother voted for the first time for Obama. I was so happy when he won the election. Look, I don't hate serena, I just like ana and jelena. BY the way, jelena has a winning record against serena and venus. Be your own judge who is the best.

Comment by : G C Monday, June 15, 2009

I know that prasanna goonewardena just needs to be ignored so that he will go away. Please go to the websites of the two Serbs AND STAY THERE!. Why write your comments here if you have no appreciation or respect for Serena Williams? Do you think that because you say you love President Obama, others will think that you aren't the jerk that you are? You should put all of your efforts in supporting those players you talk about so much. They both need it.. badly.. You are truly a DA.

Comment by : kay reid Monday, June 15, 2009

DEEP DOWN PRASANNA IS A TRUE FAN BECAUSE HE IS ON THIS SITE MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE. AND HE IS NOT ON JELENA JANKOVIC AND ANA IVANOVIC SITE.

Comment by : lydia Lindquist Monday, June 15, 2009

Esther; you are the first one to respond to Prasanna. Several comments pertaining to Prasanna. On the June 3, comments as well. What's going on WITH YOU? Are you Prasanna, under an assumed name? Sure sounds like it to me. Oh, and comment about Muslims. Sounds like a loaded statement. However, I am getting a bit suspicious. I can be a true fan without commenting.

Comment by : kay reid Monday, June 15, 2009

lydia please re-read my comments again . i dont have the time to pretend to be someone else. if i am not a fan of a person . place or thing i dont have the energy to waste on such things so if i wasnt a fan i would not be on this site no way

Hi Serena, I admire your talent and wish you all the best on the upcoming events. I hope to meet you at the 2012 Olympics in London. I am hoping to qualify for the triathlon, but each year the sport gets more competitive and fast.

What we need to do is stop the spread of islam. Islam is not a religion, it is a radical movement. I still cannot get over of what happened in New York, World Trade center. These terrorist killed thousands of innocent Americans. Lets get together and stop the spread of Islam. People who follow Islam are evil. Here in America, I never ran in to any good Muslims. Muslims are evil. It is in their blood, and you can't change it.

Hello Serena! Thanks for your words, I was afraid you stopped talking to us, so I´m glad I was wrong. As for me I love driving, I think my car it´s the third place after the bed and the work in which I spend the most of my time. Not very good I know. I do agree driving it´s really relaxing and playing music in a driving atmosphere it´s awesome. As if the music was getting better through the wheel into the ears later on under the skin and through the blood right to the heart. I don´t know I just feel it that way. I love the road trips, I live in a quite small mountainous country, so it doesn´t take very long to experience the mountain embrace. You know I love skiing, also mountains in any time of the year, so I have the beautifull memories from the slopes, you know you stay up on the hill looking around, fulfilled with the beauty of the nature & just wishing to have camera instead of eyes to picture all the scenery. Really cool. I told you that you should try once skiing (the best in the winter or in the spring), but I guess you´d stand in awe of the mountains too. :) Ok, I´m glad you´re feeling good, hope you look forward to the Wimbledon.:) I do! Just be happy, joyful and composed, we´re with you. Always. All the best. Love, I.

Hey Elisse! great comments towards the weaklings & evildoers that are showing over here just their lostness. Personally I feel sorry for every one that is knocked by his/her own frailty able to write just the mean comments, because basically such people are down and out and begging for help. So I understood also it´s wasting of energy to argue with them, but you hit the mark. :)

Yo! what is it with the French at the French open. For some reason they don't like you very much. I mean, I notice that they vote and cheer for everybody that plays against you. I was just wondering, what is it that you did to them that they don't like you. Did you cuss somebody out over there during one of the matches? Did you spit on one of their diplomats? I mean, what is it that they don't respect your skills? If you have time, hit me back on this one. Just me, and stay cool. Thanks for the page.

Well, I was in Australia recently doing research for my Novel Series, and my Literary Manager hired me a driver to take me ALL the way through Australia. It was INCREDIBLE! We packed up the SUV (thank God it was a Beamer so it had all the devices for my ipod & whatnot) and we just hit the road. I saw the mountains. I looked at the Universe through Australia's biggest telescope! I ran with kangaroos. And because I only drink: Water, milk, juice or tea...(no soda, alcohol or anything like that)...that means that every 4 hours, like clock-work, I had to pee. ha,ha It was the funniest thing. So we pulled over to a rest stop on Coonabarabran in New South Wales, and I ran over to this rickety ole' rusty stall to take a leak. Well there were about SIX different animals in that stall, and I ran away screaming like a school-boy and my driver laughed so hard that he fell out of the car! LOL! It was nuts! So I had to go behind a tree while people honked at me that drove by! LOL! Thank God no one else was there. I don't think I could've ever lived it down, or I would've just peed on myself rather than try that outback-toilet again. ha,ha

My son and I drove from Tacoma, WA to Baltimore, MD in 1994. We took 5 days and stopped along the way. We went to Mount Rushmore and tried to out run tornado's and twister through Kansas, MO, etc.. It was the longest rode trip I've ever taken. I would do it again and go from ATL to Calif by way of the Dirty South. I think that would be fun. I love New Orleans and Biloxi.
