Hi Rena, Conan announced that you won 23 Grand Slams. I don't know if he was trying to make a joke or predicting that you will win 23 Grand Slams. I would love for you to hold that title. You gotta try to sweep all 4 of the Grand slams next year by winning it all, but you will have to stay focus. I think sometimes while you are playing, you're really thinking about SHOES. :-) You really love shoes. I realized something about you while i was watching ther clip. You are so in love with yourself. There is nothing wrong with that. I was worst when i was younger. Your hair looks so beautiful. I like the outfit it makes you look sexy. Gotta go, love you and really do! Ketie

Comment by : lydia Lindquist Tuesday, October 20, 2009

Hi Serena, I'm glad you had the opportunity to visit with our President and Chief, Barack Obama. Were you able to visit with Shasa and Mahlia? I hope I spelled their names right. I really like Barack, Michelle, and their daughters very much. Although JW's don't vote, Mr. Obama would have gotten the presidency anyway. This is Jehovah's will. Whatever Jehovah purposes, regardless of man's will, Jah's will for the earth has not changed. We all think President Obama is an intelligent man. A peace loving man. Jehovah has put it into his heart to make an unprecedented, worldwide action, starting with the Churches first. The Churches have incurred some serious bloodguilt. In Nigeria, Tanzania, and other parts of Africa, the Churches have been responsible for the slaughter and maming of scores of Albino African children. In the name of SO-CALLED WITCHCRAFT, the Priests/Ministers of the Churches have branded thousands of children, by saying they are demon-possessed, to get the poor Africans to pay them money to bless their families. The parents usually throw their children out of the house to fend for themselves. Therefore, in keeping with His will and purpose, Jehovah can not let the bloodguilt of the Churches go. They also being responsible for the slaughter of millions in wars that they have sanctify as something "holy", including turning a blind-eye when the Holocaust was taking place.

Did my last statement sound presumptuous? Take a look at these videos: Alliance of Civilizations - Iron and Clay (UN). UN Interpol Cooperation. Pope Calls For A New World Order . . . With Teeth. And that's just one aspect.

Comment by : Annisha Lawrence Wednesday, October 21, 2009

I READ THIS ARTICLE ON SERENA SO I DECIDED TO POST IT HERE; Serena Williams has been listed as a headliner for this year's Australian Open. The problem is that it's not clear whether she'll be allowed to play. Because of a recent outburst in which she threatened a line judge, Williams may be banned from at least one Grand Slam tournament. According to published reports, Williams told the judge, "You don't know me. You better be right. I swear to God I'm going to take this ball and shove it down your throat."Given that a ball going down your throat might actually kill you, the judge felt that Serena had threatened her life. Then again, Serena's from Compton, a town that has become famous for finding creative ways to kill people. Serena does not, however, need to take "the hood" with her all the way to Australia. To make matters more interesting, Serena recently got naked for the cover of ESPN magazine, certifying her status as an iconic and thought-provoking figure for the early 21st century. These two events, plus the fact that she just happens to be one of the most dominant female tennis players in history, makes her the kind of woman we'll all be talking about for the next 100 years. Our great-grandkids won't be talking much about the boring apolitical figure called Michael Jordan. We'll congratulate Tiger Woods for being the first incredibly rich black man to consistently beat the crap out of the arrogant guys at the country club. Serena Williams' name, though, will come up in classes on feminist theory, history and sociology. Like Muhammad Ali, Serena is becoming bigger than her sport, and my greatest hope is that her ability to transcend tennis is guided by a desire to serve all humanity, and not just herself. Her nude body on the cover of ESPN is her way of yelling to the world that she is more than a tennis player. I agree that she is. Someone asked me if I think that race plays a role in the banning of Serena Williams. I say, absolutely, yes, but not in the way you may imagine. You see, race and racism permeate the fabric of our society and play a powerful role in our perceptions, actions and attitudes. Even things that appear to have nothing to do with race end up having everything to do with race. Those who dislike Serena do not hate her for having black skin, they hate her for "acting black." The cultural norms and attitudes that Serena carries as a black woman are heavily influenced by her Compton upbringing. Serena's strong response to the official might be inappropriate to the majority of non-black Americans, but many African Americans might be more likely to understand or forgive her seemingly aggressive behavior. (My mama threatened to kill me quite a few times growing up.) This does not, in any way, imply that misbehaving is "a black thing," (we all saw John McEnroe) or that black people are more aggressive. It simply says that the method for handling disputes might vary across cultural lines. Those who know nothing about Serena's background are not going to understand Serena and will thus disapprove of some of her behavior. Human nature dictates that we tend to dislike those who are different, which is why the officials end up hating Serena. Even before the incident took place, many officials had already found the behavior of the Williams sisters to be unacceptable, similar to the way a white school teacher from the suburbs is five times more likely to decide that a black male student has a behavioral disorder. The truth is that the world has never seen a woman like Serena Williams, and it probably never will again. I congratulate Serena for her boldness and expression of independent thought. Simultaneously, I encourage her to show a bit more discipline on the court, since there is no need to "get gangsta" with a line judge. The woman made the best call she could, and threatening her only makes Serena look as petty, spoiled and inconsiderate as McEnroe. That's not the Serena I, nor my grandkids, really wants to remember. Sorry I meant "to read all of that text".

Comment by : Ketie Aristil Wednesday, October 21, 2009

Monica Shelton, I agree with you. Annisha wrote a novel. I'm not trying to disrespect Annisha Lawrence, but you really wrote a novel. I read it all and i disagree with some of the things you said. The Williams sisters have never been disrespectful to any of the judges. As a matter of fact, the judges had to apologize for all the bad calls against when she played Jennifer Capriati in the 2003 US Open. Serena did not do anything at all at that time. She handled it with class. She is not Gangsta. She is just so passionate about Tennis and she is tired of being picked on. I have been a Tennis fan since 1986 and believe me i've seen worst. I'm not saying that i agree with what Serena did, but she is human. I know you are a fan based on what you wrote, but Serena will not be banned from being a part of any of the Grand Slams.

Hi Abraham, I know you posted a comment directed to me on the previous page. I may post on there also. Just because YOU were friends of ALBINO'S and you are a Minister, doesn't mean that everyone is sir. There was a documentary on the abuse of Albino children in Nigeria, and Tanzania that is critical. These children have had body parts mutiliated in the name of WITCHCRAFT! The occult. You need not take my word for it, go to TLC, go to YOUTUBE. for starters. This may be painful for you to admit, but it is a reality. Look it up, before you come at me now. Okay?

Comment by : lydia Lindquist Wednesday, October 21, 2009

Also Abraham, in Britain on the BBC network, they reported on Witch Doctors and Albinos. The witch Doctors make the claim that potions made from Albino hair, blood, or limbs paves the way to riches. Is it happening now? Absolutely. Exandas Documentaries Series has uncovered vivid and gruesome footage of these disgraceful acts.

Comment by : lydia Lindquist Wednesday, October 21, 2009

Abraham, here are two more sources. It's worse than previous thought. http://exandas.ert.gr and www.smallplanet.gr. Really, I try not to say something if I haven't experienced it before or did research on it myself. Thank you.

Well Fred, you told her didn't you?! Hateful person that she is. I think she is just jealous of Serena, so instead of praising her, she focuses on trying to reduce her to her level. Stop worrying about Serena, Ms. Fowler and go see a therapist! Lydia thank you for clearing up the albino comment. I couldn't figure out what Abraham was talking about. I don't know what the original comment was, but I did watch the documentary, and what is happening to the albinos is horrible. I went to school with a couple of them, and they were treated the same as everybody else. The only difference was that they had to stay out of the sun. The very idea of someone hacking off body parts because of mystical beliefs makes me shiver! Do you know if there is anything that can be done to help the situation?

Comment by : lydia Lindquist Thursday, October 22, 2009

Yes Lydia D. And the United Nations will take this action. Religion has long been the catalyst for racism, slaughters in warfare, profit making on the backs of poor people, the poor economic condition worldwide and so forth. I encourage you to do some research in the matters. Even "hood" wars that are taking place have names that are religious based such as; The Black Gangsta' Disciples, Four Corner Hustlers, The P Stones, CVL (Vice Lords), The Bloods, The Crips, and etc...

Comment by : lydia Lindquist Thursday, October 22, 2009

Take a look at the KKK. They are seriously backed by false religion. They use the excuse that in the Bible, Noah cursed Canaan and said he should become lower than his brothers. They say this because Ham, one of Noah's sons, begot the Cush peoples who are the black races. Yes Canaan was the son of Ham, and Noah's grandson, but he was from a light skinned people. That curse did take place back then, but is no longer the case. This false belief has given racist the catalyst they need to continue being hateful toward their brother. By the way, the reason Noah cursed Canaan, was because Noah got drunk with wine and woke up but naked in his tent. Canaan was the culprit. He knew that some sexual perversion was done to him by Canaan. He was so angry and humiliated that he cursed Canaan. There was a reason he didn't curse Ham, the father of Canaan. Because Ham didn't do it. His son did. So, that myth is well documented.

Comment by : lydia Lindquist Thursday, October 22, 2009

Instead of showing respect to his father, however, it was Ham who went and got his brothers Shem and Japheth. He should have covered his father's nakedness, but he found the situation to be funny. Ham showed neglect, but he was not cursed at that time. This account can be found in Genesis 9:20-27.

Comment by : lydia Lindquist Thursday, October 22, 2009

Hi Serena; I noticed that the aforementioned article said that 'you had become bigger than your sport.' Therein lies the crux of the problem. Mainstream America has two faces. That statement reflects their thinking. By you becoming part owner of the Miami Dolphins, you have become a special target now. Although you have explained yourself over and over on these talk shows, mainstream's envy of your accomplishments will not let them rest. Now they are adding the fact that you made the threat and you posed nude. It was only a matter of time. Be careful Serena.

Comment by : lydia D Thursday, October 22, 2009

Tina, I did read the comments, and I have read your quote of what Serena said several times; too many times to be exact! But what I saw in the article was completely different from you are making it out to be. It's almost as though you are gloating and that is terrible. Should any of us be gloating because Serena stumbled? How would you feel if you were mocked and scorned everytime you made a mistake. Yes, Serena let her temper get the better of her, and hopefully she has learned from the incident, so let it go. I don't think the person who posted the article was being vindictive, so why are you? Why don't you look thru the window of your soul and see what you find there? If you like what you see, then great, but if you should be uncomfortable or even ashamed of some of the things you have done in the past, then perhaps you will understand that none of us are perfect. Believe me, I have examined myself often, and always I see that I need to be a better person. Perhaps you should start working on that aspect of your personality instead of harping on Serena's faults.

Comment by : Janet Dancey Thursday, October 22, 2009

What I have noticed about Tina's comments these past few weeks is that she rarely has anything poingnant to say and usually reverts to cut and pasting articles she finds about "the incident" over and over and over again. As if we Serena's fans will be moved to realize something, what that something is I am not sure of. When Tina does speak rather than cut and paste articles all she really has to say is that Serena threatened that poor linesperson. O.K. fine...that's how she sees, not how I do. So, I'll ask the question. What is it Tina that you want from us? What feelings or thoughts would you like to provoke in us because it is kinda hard to tell exactly what you expect to accomplish from your posts.

Hi Rena, don't worry about losing the number one rank. What really matters is winning those Grand Slams and preparing for your furture after Tennis. Ms/Mrs lydia Lindquist, thanks for giving us updates on what has been going on in Africa. You have been quite informative....

Comment by : Monika Shelton Thursday, October 22, 2009

Tina, thank you for posting the link. Quite frankly, I am sick and tired of people who have never played in any sports let alone tennis- rush to judgment about how an athlete is always supposed to be graceful. The fact of the matter is that nobody likes to lose, especially a TENNIS PLAYER!!! What so many people seem not to understand is that TENNIS PLAYERS get PAID TO WIN! There is no such thing as high paying contracts in tennis; hence, what tennis players make in 10 years, a basketball player can make the same or more in one year. Tennis players have to work extra hard for their money.

You remind me of one of my sisters that is always preaching me about going to Church and telling me to make sure that my 15 year son goes to Church. For the past few weeks, you kept the same subject and that is JHV or what has been going on in Nigeria. You are a positive person. I only take time to read your comments. Everyone else is either negative or borrrrrring...We need to start talking about the wonderful things that Oprah, Serena, Roger Feder have done for Africa, and more... Ms. Lydia, you are welcome.... :-) BE POSITIVE PEOPLE.... IF YOU ARE NOT A SERENA FAN, DON'T JOIN THIS BLOG.....

You seem to be assertive with the albinos,I live here in Nigeria and have done missions in remote villages, for ritual killings I will be lying to say it does not exist even the darkest complexn,in the same way you find gangsterism in America with talents such as Tupac,Biggie etc wasted in their prime or is it the streets of Melbourne which as become no go area for Indians. If u a still insist that thousands of Albinos get murdered, may be u want to give me names of the churches?I mean since their attrocities are already in the open it is no longer a secret.

Abraham, becoming offensive sends up a red flag to me. I am sorry about your feelings of being singled out, but your country is not. Yes, there are problems worldwide. However, the issue with albinos is a reality. Why are you taking this personal? Look at the sources I have written on my comments on this page. You can find out what's going on. It is what it is. Please take the time to do the research. No need to become offended by the truth Abraham. I know your feelings are hurt. Is it the Churches you want to protect, or the children?

Furthermore, Abraham, this is about not only Albino children, but about the thousands of Nigerian children who are mutilated, beaten, and thrown out their homes, because of Ministers saying they are Bewitched. Also do the research on this Abraham. Again, I am sorry if this hurts you, but I was initially speaking with my Serena about this. Her fans are also interested in the welfare of the children. For this, I respect them as well.

Good afternoon Serena! Hope your preparation for Doha is going well.

Abraham, if you want to know the Church and the Pastor recently arrested for this in Nigeria, you can go to Nigeria-News.com, or YOUTUBE and look at the many videos on both subjects. Again, please don't feel ashame, just take appropriate action.

ABRAHAM JEB-TOA, for a long time I've been aware of the plight of the albinos in Africa, that lydia was talking about. They are believe to have magical properties associated with them so witchdoctor seek them out, kill and dismember them, and use their body parts for magic rituals. You asked lydia where she got her information, if you put 'albinos Africa' in your browser, you will get thousands of links discussing this. Here is an example of one of those links: http://bit.ly/13n240 Like you said, it is no secret all this is going on.

Unfortunately, the same things in the way of children and the Churches marking them as Witches and Warlocks is being accomplished in the Congo as well! Good morning Serena.

Hey Serena, the good news is, that the Governing Body of JW's had the 2009 "Keep On The Watch" District Convention in June, in Congo Kinshasa. The brothers had tried to rent out the stadium for years but were denied. According to David Splane of the GB, the then Minister of Sports said that the sports stadium should never be used for a religious convention. But a new Minister of Sports was appointed and permission for the convention was granted. As usual we got opposition from the clergy. They said if we could have ours on Friday and Saturday, they wanted it on Sunday. Mind you, they've done nothing but place heavy burden on the Congolese people to pay for any "spiritual" help they performed for them. The GB, had been planning for this moment for months. As a result, to make a long story short, the JW's were granted to have the convention on Sunday as well, starting at 7:00am and ending at 12:00pm, but had to vacate at noon in one hour for the other group to come in at 1:00pm. As a result of much media exposure the Congolese ppl decided to attend on all three days. On Friday there were 45,000. After the GB announced that they had a Bible for them in their language, there was a thunderous applause for 5 minutes. The Bible was given to all for FREE of course. Many of the Congolese ppl were in tears. On Saturday, 72,000 attended. Then on Sunday 87,000 showed up on the last day! Now they read the Bible for themselves and get the spiritual feeding from Jehovah's table without charge.

That outfit makes you look super callipygian. You must be the most alluring female athlete in the world.I read somewhere that you might be banned from at least one grand slam.I hope this is only speculation because you bring the grand to grand slams.

Hey Serena. I didn't know that you were on Bonnie Hunt. I liked your dress. It lucked bluish-turgoise. It was very modest and classy. You gave the audience a free copy of your book and lip balm and the skin care. Thank you for being so generous. Add another adjective to your persona. Humanitarian, genorosity, peacemaker, athlete, stadium owner, and a host of others. I can see you are being refined every time I see you. Please keep growing Serena. Let holy spirit operate in your behalf. Who can stop God?

I'm very proud of you Serena! I met you in Brooklyn in 1996 the year before you joined the tour. (V's 1st year on tour) You and Vee graciously put on a clinic for inner-city kids at Fort Green Park in Brooklyn, and you all were delightful to work with! We still rave about that day! Your philanthropic spirit was on display BEFORE you made a dime! Somehow you, along with your sister and the kids from the neighborhood silently went over to nearby Brooklyn Hospital and made a donation to a patient who was the victim of police brutality. No one asked you guys to do that. It was YOUR idea. I still have a picture with you holding my granddaughter Yazmin who was 7 months old at the time. (And one with me) Now Yaz is a 13 year old runner with aspirations of going to Harvard, running in the Olympics and then Law School. Your parents have always insisted on education and I am proud of ALL of you! Love and Blessings! Sonia Wilson
