Hi Linda, sorry that you were affected negatively by the photo of Serena in ESPN. I'm sure she wasn't trying to be provocative. I took note of the athletes that were in their birthday suit. One was a pregnant athlete. The overall message was showing the physicality of the human body in various forms. Serena has said in the past that nudity was very natural to her. She's obviously very comfortable in her own skin. And although you are disappointed, will you allow this to affect YOUR relationship with God? The way you treat her, WILL affect how God will accept YOUR request for forgiveness when you make mistakes. Matthew 6:14, Jesus says: "If you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will forgive you, whereas if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." The first humans, Adam and Eve, walked about in the Garden of Eden all day long naked. It wasn't until they had sinned, by eating of the tree that Jehovah had forbidded them to eat from, that they realized they were naked. Guilt can make you view things in a whole new light. They were clean and innocent as to anything bad at first. They only had pure thoughts all the time, before they sinned. However, AFTER they disobeyed a direct order from God, that they lost their innocence, thereby experiencing for the first time, guilt and shame. Jehovah's creative works are all masterpieces. The human body is one of those masterpieces. I don't believe that Serena would hurt anyone intentionally.

We are living a time, when what we choose to be will come out wether we want it to or not. That goes for me too. James 4:8 says: "each one will be drawn out and enticed by his own desire. The desire, when it becomes fertile will bring birth to sin, sin in turn brings forth death." No one can escape this reality wether we are young or old. We could do either two things. Fix it and readjust our thinking, or continue in it (whatever it is) and recieve the full recompense due for our error. Even though I have never met Serena and Venus personally, it is as if I already know them, because we are taught the same things by our God. We are also disciplined by him through his word the Bible. Now that you're not there I am rooting for your friend Svetlana Kuznetsova, I am extremely impressed at how much she has improved since the French Open. I saw that one, I saw the ones on the website when they were on the beach modeling (I won't say the webpage) but I am not adversely affected by nudity. Obviously Linda, as well as on the prior page, a young man was shaken up. Many ppl think nothings wrong with the image of nudity on public magazines. But to some, they feel it is bordered on pornography. I am not here to judge Serena, but clearly a young woman named Linda, is very upset by it. So, as a business woman, and respected woman of her caliber, perhaps Serena will see the need to make an adjustment in the future. I am confident that Serena will do the right thing. She doesn't want to stumble anyone, especially young people.

Serena and Venus have taken photos on the beach without their knowledge as well. The ones they both posed for on the beach were environment appropriate. They were in the bathing suits. In the one, yes she was nude. The pose wasn't provocative. She is proud of her body, but I am concerned that perhaps there are individuals who could in the future, use this as a catalyst to do harm to her. I've seen it happen to so many young women.

However, they want him to take action on what is expected of him, as he delivered the speech on PEACE AND SECURITY to the United Nations recently. You have done some, I have seen you on Bernie Mac, My Wife and Kids, and etc..., but honestly Serena, some of your actions are not, shall I say, what people see as being JW goal orientated. Hi again Serena, I sent Venus a private letter on her page where she was addressing the American Defamation League, where she recieved an award for her galantry in defending Peer in Doha. Among other issues, she spoke about how politics had no place in sports. I wholeheartedly agree! If this was in effect, you guys would be able play for team U.S.A. without worrying about fighting other nations for supremacy, when all you guys want to do is your jobs, have fun doing it, and make the money. I'm going to get some Miami Dolphin gear soon. I was thinking about getting the garments with the pink ribbon, symbolizing research, and a cure for breast cancer. I'm all about working toward a great cause when it is not religious or politically based. This in itself brings many unnecessary pressures. I often write about subjects that bring awareness to a cause I'm feeling. I speak often to people about you and Venus, and the fine works of which you two are having a share, in the hopes that they too will give you support in your endeavors. The pen indeed, is mightier than the sword.

Ron: Unfortunately, I have not been able to sign up with twitter yet, I have to recheck my new cell phone plan to make sure I have enough text message coverage. Serena has to be very, very careful this coming year because the media and the tennis officials are going to be gunning for her. We as her fans have moved on, but the rest of the tennis community has not. They will use this as an excuse to constantly bash and ostracize her. There is no doubt that Serena is in good physical shape, but if she would gain an extra 15-20lbs of MUSCLE, it would decrease her injuries, back spasms, etc. as well as giving her a huge edge over her other competitors. More importantly, Serena has to be even more mentally focused than last year because of all the haters and vultures out there want to destroy her. What Serena had to suffer through at the 2002 French Open against Henin and 2001 Indian Wells against Clijsters will unfortunately repeat in 2010 Grand Slams; in addition, SERENA WILL HAVE TO PUT ON FULL BODY ARMOR to keep her sanity. She cannot by no means repeat what she did at the US Open, it will end her career. She has to be able to recognize when she is being setup for attack by officials. I strongly believe that she will weather it out but she is going to have to BITE HER TONGUE a whole lot in 2010. The media is going to be looking at every little thing she does or says so they can twist it out of proportion.

She never really followed tennis, but she had heard the media hype concerning the U.S. Open incident and the photo on ESPN cover. She didn't know what really happened, but I told her the truth. I also told her that you were not trying to shock anyone with your photo, but that you and a pregnant athlete amongst others, were showing the physicality of the human body in various forms. I also told her how you always give honor to our God, after major tournaments, and how Venus gave him due praise during her ADL address. She was very happy. Now, you guys have her support as well.
