9/ll/09 was my 66th birthday. All I ask of my family was to be able to watch the US Open. I watched the match tonight between Serena and Kim and it was clear that Serena did not commit a "Foot Fault." The Asian referee lied about the foot fault and also that Serena verbally abused her which Serena denied. Serena was then given a penalty for breaking the racket, the so call abuse and the foot fault and was then rejected from the game. Serena did not voluntarily leave the game. Jimmy Conners verbally abused referees, John McEnroe verbally abused referees, Gonzalez broke his racket today on the court and as well as many tennis players last week....yet none of them was given a penalty or thrown from the game. Racism is very evident in the game of tennis and it's blatantly directed toward the Williams' sisters. I think that Serena and Venus should boycott future games and we as their fans should vigorously demand that an investigation is done about this foot fault issue. Even John McEnroe said that Serena did not commit a foot fault. I will Never, Ever watch tennis again I suggest that the Williams' sisters leave the game and when this happens, that will be the "DEATH" of tennis. Millions of people watch Tennis, including me, because of the Williams' sisters. Let's show our support and let your voices be heard in this issue.

Hi Serena- I'm sorry for the outcome of the US OPEN. You were working so hard and it seemed obvious that you were frustrated. Kudos for your post-match press conference. That must have been difficult. When you see the play-back with your exchange with the ref, you will see that you really lost it with her. You are such a class-act, when you are able, let the public know that you lost it due to the pressure, but that you should not have berated the ref like that. We know you know better. I would like to know why the foot fault cll is not challenageable? It should be as the person making the call was given to much power and in this case if you were able to challenge the call thi s would not have happened. Serena, Help me to understand why you played Clijsters with no aggression at all, passively, allowing her dictate the points, while you played the low-percentage baseline which doesn't work when you are playing a baseliner like Clijsters.
