Well I just a read little bit for now but my first impression is how close you are with your dad & how he was a big influence in your life. I think that family is very important & sometimes I wish me & my dad could have been closer while I was growing up. With the passing of my mom a few years ago, me & my dad are even father apart than we were. After reading what I have of your book it has made me want to do something about that. Well I can’t wait to read the rest.

What a wonderful book. Very encouraging and therapeutic. You should become a counselor after your tennis career. I love the story about how you cut Yetunde's hair when you thought she had cut your hair. What a wonderful sister. Also, Venus is the ultimate sister. What a great cover on your new book, "On the Line", the picture of you on the cover is beautiful. I can't wait until September 1st to buy it a my local Borders. I Know that this book is an INSTANT BEST SELLER Serena. Let me tell you why. First of all I was up until (let see) 4:00 am in the morning just to read what you had on the site, you know out of curiosity. Cause I was thinking SERENA CANT WRITE NO BOOK!! SHOOT SHE CANT EVEN SPELL RIGHT!! Boy was I wrong. That is a beautiful Autobiography! The last time I read an exerpt that good was the Autobiography of Malcolm X and The Jackson 5 story. Anyways I laughed until I cried when Your dad was putting that Shopping cart in the VW van. I could picture it. Then when you was talking about Stealing Newspapers and Your sister wrecking the van, I just had to stop. My stomach hurt and I was waking everyone up in the house. So I cant even finish the little bit you got on the website. Its too much. When I buy that book, I will have to find the right, safe place to read it. Cause Man, Its too much. I really see my families behavior there. We switch price tags and stole Stoves out of Sears but thats another story. Your parents are thinkers and Your dad is really a scientist in his own field.

I read On the LIne by Serena Williams with Daniel Paisner in two days. I just couldn't put it down. Serena takes us on an emotional journey with her from beginning to end, and lets the public see her most vulnerable side. Written very enthusiastically in her voice, Serena shares her most important moments and doesn't disappoint with the detail. I will say, I would have liked to know more about her first slam victory, but that aside it is a full memoir, with emotional undertones, particularly when reading the chapter on Tunde. Hearing her put into words that experience along with how wonderful a sister Venus is will tug on anyone's heart strings. The fight and grit that Serena has shown over the years comes from a place deep down from when she was a young child and often overlooked. She captures that feeling, that we all sometimes feel, very well. Lastly, I enjoy this book mostly because it's conversational. It's Serena talking to her fans and isn't too stiff to the point where it's a turn off. It's an easy read and quite motivational. I particularly felt empowered reading the chapter about Serena going to Africa to open up her school. I could go on, but certainly a dazzling memoir, only to be outdone by its successor when Serena writes another book about the 30+ grand slams she has attained. I have been watching each game you play when ever am free or not in Tsavo.You are trully a challenger as was the way you had handled the controversial game where you were penalized and it was not supposse to be such a decition by the referee.Keep up the good game and you shall overcome all this obstacles. I bought my copy from Amazon, but Serena is coming to London to sign her autobiography for her fans on 2nd November from 1pm at Waterstones in Harrods (Knightsbridge). I am thinking of going to see her and have my copy signed. But I think it's supposed to be buy your copy in Waterstones and have that signed.
